Property firm Lomond in Liverpool agency swoop
A sales and lettings agency network has expanded with a takeover.
Lomond has bought City Residential.
Officials say the swoop for the Liverpool lettings and estate agency “underscores the group’s strategy of bringing market leaders on board”.
They add it “strengthens Lomond’s presence in the region and marks the continuation of a successful regional expansion”, having previously completed a move for Mersey-based property operator Homesure.
Under the terms of its latest deal, Homesure will manage 2001-founded City Residential’s portfolio.
David Alexander, chief revenue officer at London-headquartered Lomond, said: “City Residential’s reputation and quality make it a perfect fit.”
Alan Bevan, City Residential founder, added: “Over the past 25 years, our growth has been driven by our dedication to clients and our deep knowledge of Liverpool city centre.
“Lomond shares our values, and has the same commitment to client care, attention to detail and pride in what they do.”
The deal follows previous Lomond agreements for Reading-headquartered Prospect and Edinburgh lettings agent Littlejohns, and a move for Right Let Leeds’ lettings portfolio.
