Testing firm boosts offer with 'impressive' firm deal
A testing and compliance firm has expanded with a takeover.
Celnor Group has bought Safety Solutions Group.
Bosses say the swoop will “further strengthen its capabilities in specialist training, certification and compliance”.
Under the terms of the deal, Dublin-based Safety Solutions Group has joined London-headquartered Celnor Group’s risk management division.
Founder Ciarán McEvoy will remain an advisor to the business, which is known for supporting organisations across the public and private sectors in areas such as health and safety training, risk management and compliance services.
Simon Parrington, Celnor Group founder and chief executive, said: “Safety Solutions Group has an impressive reputation in specialist training and risk management, and a strong presence in Ireland.
“Its proven expertise adds real strength to our offering.”
Adrian Jackson, Safety Solutions Group managing director, added: “Joining Celnor Group marks an exciting step forward.
“We share its values and dedication to excellence, and this partnership gives us the scale, expertise and backing needed to drive growth and expand our range of services.”
The deal comes just weeks after Celnor Group bought Ireland-based water testing and environmental and fuel analysis firm TelLab.
