Big Day Event takes place today
Today sees the culmination of Business Week Tyne & Wear with the Big Day Event, a full day of free seminars, interactive business showcases and targeted networking, bringing together everyone in business across Tyne and Wear. Workshops available at the event include a SME question and answer session, a Charisma Clinic, and a Business Showcase to come face to face with the region’s most innovative businesses. Bill McGawley, Chairman, Business Week Tyne & Wear said: “The day is packed with opportunities for everyone - whether you’re here to promote your organisation to key-decision makers, you want to take advantage of the free training, or you’d simply like to get a real feel for what the North East business community has to offer. “Make sure you stay for the Celebration Hour at 3:15pm, when we’ll be announcing the winners of business planning competitions Biz Idol and Biz Idol U18, as well as the new Schools’ Enterprise Champions. The Celebration Hour is also a chance to publicly celebrate the Name and Fame nominees, and don’t forget if you’ve entered a Name and Fame nomination yourself you too could be winning one of the top prizes!” The Big Day Event is from 9am to 4:15pm at the Sunderland Stadium of Light.
