New housing website for young people
A new housing information website has been launched for young people aged 16 to 24. The Gateshead Housing Company website www.mypadgateshead.co.uk features information on leaving home, finances, renting and buying a house. The site also features a glossary of housing jargon.
The ‘mypadgateshead’ website follows the launch of Gateshead Council’s Children and Young People’s Plan earlier this year, in which housing was identified as a top ten priority for young people.
