A Re-Freshing approach to new business
A Middlesbrough based firm has cited a series of Business Link workshops in its acquistion of a potential £2.5 million worth of new business. The Re-Fresh company uses NewGenn products to quickly break the cycle of infection for bacteria and viruses such as MRSA, C-Difficile, SARS and Salmonella. Keen to get the right advice and support, Derek Foxcroft and his wife, with whom he created the business last April, embarked on Business Link’s Start-up Programme and claim the results are ‘staggering’.
Derek said: “Without these seminars it could have taken years to break into some of the industries, such as the NHS, where we are now making inroads. The help we’ve had in understanding the public sector procurement process has also helped in preparing for work within the private sector.”
Business Link say they are delighted to see the impact the ‘Winning Business from Big Business’ programme has had on one individual firm. For further information regarding Business Link visit the website: www.businesslink.gov.uk.
