Teesside company leads green rentals
Reflex Vehicle Solutions has become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of environmentally-friendly hybrid vehicles. Thanks to a major increase in demand in the last eighteen months the Stockton-based vehicle rental company is now supplying nationwide companies with Toyota Prius hybrid cars as well as a number of LPG vans.
The hybrid vehicles are powered by electric motors and are recognised as one of the most environmentally-friendly cars on the market. Reflex has received a lot of interest from companies in London and the South East because of the extended congestion charge zone as drivers of hybrid vehicles are exempt from paying the charge. Reflex is now working with a number of private companies and local authorities in the area.
Reflex say they are keen to continually support and re-invest in North East-based dealerships and the latest fleet of hybrid vehicles was supplied by RMB Toyota in Yarm.
Graeme Lumley, sales director, said: “Environmental awareness is always high on our agenda and we have already supplied many businesses around the UK with LPG vans and low emission cars. “We have always been committed to providing flexible vehicle rental for the 21st century. This is increasingly evident as we continually build our fleet of hybrid vehicles with the support of local and national companies.”
