Getting the basics right
With Simon Raybould of Curved Vision Theatre
I’ve doing some work recently which suggests that getting a good presentation under your belt involves two thing: getting the sophisticated things right and not getting the basics wrong. Sometimes we all try too hard to get it all right and we forget to cover the basics. Sometimes we just don’t know the basics in the first place.
There’s no hint today, just an invitation.
I’ve jotted down a very short report (two sides of A4 paper only) about the basics, the things you can’t afford to get wrong on a presentation. It only takes a couple of minutes to read and you can get it for absolutely nothing by emailing report@curved-vision.co.uk. It’s as simple as that – there’s no hidden catch and no cost: just a couple of sides of tips about the things that (let’s face it!) if you get wrong will sink your presentation, no matter how good the rest of what you do is.
