Celebrations for Northern manufacturers
EEF Northern is set to host its first ever Manufacturing Dinner at what will be one of the largest gathering of manufacturers in the North. To be held at Lumley Castle on Wednesday 2 May, representatives from some of the region’s top manufacturers will be celebrating manufacturing excellence in the North. Paul Callaghan, Chairman and Founder of the Leighton Group and Chair of Business Link North East (BLNE), and Margaret Fay OBE, Chairman of One NorthEast, will be giving their personal opinions on the strength and diversity of the North East economy.
Alan Hall, EEF Northern Director, said: “This year EEF Northern has gone from strength to strength and now has over 450 members – its highest since the 1990s – and we were also voted top business support organisation for manufacturers by The Manufacturer Magazine, an accolade we have won five years running. “We’re delighted to be celebrating ours and our manufacturers’ success and look forward to another great year, especially following our new ties with BLNE which means we’ll be able to offer our members unrivalled business support.”
