£1m giveaway for customers heralds new era for firm
A Northern accommodation provider is moving in to new territory with the launch of an international £1m giveaway to customers. Bedsearcher has embarked on a sales promotion offering £1m worth of free £5 vouchers for customers in a bid to attract new sales, increase brand awareness and boost customer loyalty. The marketing campaign is the start of a new phase of development for the firm, which entered the global hotel booking market late last year.
Jim Mann, Bedsearcher founder, said: “Things are happening at a great speed at Bedsearcher, quite literally day by day we are closing the gap between ourselves and our long-established rivals such as Last Minute and Late Rooms. “There are some major industry deals in the pipeline, in this area alone we continue to exceed our own expectations. Partnerships are key to the growth of Bedsearcher.”
Bedsearcher, which recently completed a takeover of its former IT sub-contractor and service provider, is expected to follow the growth shown by other companies in the accommodation booking sector. Bedsearcher now connects people with more than 40,000 hotels, bed and breakfasts and guesthouses in destinations from Northumberland to New York.
The business is moving into the worldwide travel market with customers from the Far East, America and Australia – both tourists and business travelers – using the site to visit the UK. The firm has already experienced success working with 19 countries in Europe, predominantly selling to those traveling to and around the UK.
