Commit to Quit
Over a week into the smoking ban and with the continued dreary weather making smoking outdoors less and less attractive, many a smoker has already or is considering giving up the habit. As an extra motivation, why not use your giving up as an excuse to raise funds for The Children’s Foundation? By joining the ‘Commit to Quit’ campaign you can donate all or some of the money you save by not smoking and also get sponsored by friends and family for your efforts. The money raised will support the charity’s projects to educate children about smoking and encourage them not to take it up.
For a ‘Commit to Quit’ pack including hints and tips and a sponsorship form or if you wish to make a donation towards the Foundation’s work to combat smoking in children, please call The Children’s Foundation on 0191 2820000 or visit the website, www.thechildrensfoundation.co.uk.
