In last week’s Friday Poll we asked How do you feel about the imminent release of the final Harry Potter book? Now that the fuss over Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has died down a little, let’s see how bdaily readers voted.
It seems that the events on Friday night were quite popular, with one in ten of those who voted saying they were attending a launch night celebration. 14.5% said that they might pick it up if it’s cheap, and 20.3% said they were waiting for the film (release date summer 2010 – that’s a long wait). 24.6% said it was coming from Amazon, and 30.4% declared their hatred of Harry Potter, refusing to give JK Rowling any money.
For those who are interested, I ordered mine from Amazon. The Royal Mail were irritatingly efficient on Saturday, however, and it turned up at 7am – so I missed it.
