Tees Valley hosts International Networking Club
The Tees Valley is set to host the latest meeting of the new North East International Networking Club, which aims to help North East businesses stay ahead of the world exporting game.
The club, launched by UK Trade & Investment, offers members the chance to keep up-to-date of new international opportunities, find out about the support that exists for exporters and learn of new initiatives as they are launched.
John Dobie, Chairperson of the North East International Networking Club, said: “Our first two meetings, in Gateshead and at Linden Hall in Northumberland, went really well and we’re looking forward to the next in Tees Valley.”
The club offers a unique networking experience, allowing new members to benefit from the experience and advice of ‘older’ members, so we can share experiences and best practice so we can all build, grow and improve employment in the region.
“It’s very much a club run by the members for the members with a good balance of subjects of interest and we aim to organise meetings right across the region, in Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Teesside and Durham and members are welcome to attend any or all of the meetings.”
The next meeting takes place on Tuesday 5 February, 6-8pm at the Parkmore Hotel, Stockton followed by another on Tuesday 25 March, 8-10am at the Castle Eden Brewery, Durham. Mr Dobie said new members would be welcome to attend any or all of the meetings across the region.
