Credit crunch week launched for small businesses
The ongoing credit crunch has affected small businesses across the UK, with many considering entering administration. With this in mind, the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies (NFEA) is inviting small firms to attend a week of seminars and workshops designed to give them practical advice.
The NFEA hopes to help small business owners to learn how to weather the storm and handle their business effectively whatever the future brings. The workshops will run from 28 April to 2 May and provide one-on-one independent financial advice. Those considering setting up their own business are also invited.
George Derbyshire, NFEA chief executive, said: “We are not criticising the Government or the banks or big business but we know from talking to small businesses that they are worried about what they are reading and hearing. “We know that many entrepreneurs, particularly those who have started businesses in recent years, have not had the experience of managing their business through a downturn.”
The seminars will be held across the UK and further details are available on the NFEA website www.nfea.com.
