North East minister to talk to business leaders
Minister for the North East Rt Hon Nick Brown MP will speak to small business leaders at a conference on Friday. Mr Brown will talk about the future of business in the region as part of the Ensuring Future Growth (EFG) conference. The day-long event is being organised by members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) in the region.
Business leaders in the region are being invited to attend the exhibition and take part in the free seminars. There will also be four formal networking sessions and a buffet lunch.
Anne Keenlyside, regional vice-chair of the FSB, said: “Business leaders will get a lot out of the conference. As well as the most comprehensive business to business exhibitions in the region there will be ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions, which will include one-to-one consultations on tax, VAT, funding for construction training and local authority procurement.”
Mr Brown will be the headline speaker at a dinner that follows the EFG conference at 7.30pm. For a full programme and information, see www.fsb.org.uk/efg.
