Networking group launches in North East
A branch of a new networking service has been launched in the North East.
Partners4Business (P4B) is an international department of Washington-based Allancia. Its North East division will meet for the first time at the Angel View Inn, opposite the Angel of the North on the A1M, on Wednesday 16 July from 5–10pm.
Allancia Managing Director, Phil Eadon, said: “The need for a local P4B networking club for its members in the North East has developed naturally out of the interests of the already established P4B online community. That community has attracted over 600 members from 36 countries.”
P4B has promised that the mood of the meetings will be relaxed, and that there will be no sponsor presentations or hard sales pitches. After drinks until 8pm, networkers will be offered a light meal.
It is hoped that P4B will be uniquely useful to businesspeople in the North East. Eadon said: “As the owner and manager of a small business I simply cannot afford to invest that time to attend these daytime networking sessions. I have tried lots but all too often been disappointed and left frustrated by the lack of good contacts that are relevant to my business.”
