Guardian Tech Weekly in Newcastle
Many techies and web-heads in the bdaily readership will already be followers of the Guardian’s technology section (probably in its online form), but this week brings you the opportunity to get together with other such like-minded people in a real-world environment.
The lovely people at newcastlecentric.com recently informed us that representatives of the Guardian’s Technology section will be in Newcastle this week to investigate the North East’s digital scene.
Jemima Kiss and Scoot Cawley will be in the Living Room between 4 and 6 on Thursday, and they’d like to meet anyone involved in the North East’s cutting edge.
“We want to meet techies, gamers and entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes and it’s a good excuse for everyone to meet up,” says Jemima. “We want to hear all your ideas and your thoughts about the local scene - the rising stars and ones to watch, as well as the problems holding the tech community back.”
For some more information on this, take a look at the newcastlecentric round-up. If you’re going along, bdaily will see you there.
