Middlesbrough casino 'must benefit regeneration'
Firms competing to set up a casino in Middlesbrough will have to prove how they will benefit the town as a whole.
Middlesbrough council has decided that a key consideration in choosing an operator will be the level of regeneration benefits it can provide. The rules, which are subject to public consultation, are part of the first stage of the application process.
