Best Secretary on Tyneside Award 2009
The Best Secretary on Tyneside Competition 2009 will open for entries on 1 August, culminating in an Awards Evening at Tiger Tiger on Wednesday 30 September. The competition aims to honour the PAs and secretaries who work behind the scenes in Tyneside businesses.
As in 2008, competition is being organised by Pitman Training Newcastle, and this time around bdaily is the competition’s official media partner. Other sponsors include Dawson and Sanderson Travel, Weir Insurance, Venture Photography, The Gate, Kaffeccinos and Tyneside Cinema.
As well as the awards ceremony, this year’s event will include a fashion show by Hobbs previewing their autumn/winter collection, and a presentation by Sue France, former Times Crème PA of the Year and author of The Definitive Personal Assistant and Secretarial Handbook. The organisers will once again be raising money for a local children’s charity.
There are still a few opportunities for local businesses to promote themselves through this year’s competition. For information on sponsorship packages, contact Eleanor Cook at Pitman Training Newcastle - eleanor.cook@pitman-training.net.
