IoD provides master classes
Two master classes are being held to help North East businesses striving to succeed in the current economic climate.
‘Developing Marketing Strategies to Succeed in Turbulent Times’ and ‘Sustainability and What It Means Now’ are two of the burning issues to be tackled at forthcoming Institute of Directors North East ‘Rough Guide to Business’ seminars.
Professor Fraser McLeay, Professor of Strategic Marketing Management at Newcastle Business School and Director of Kiwi TB Ltd., will lead the marketing presentation.
A myth-busting session, called ‘Sustainability and What It Means Now’, will be conducted by Professor David Oglethorpe, a specialist in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Newcastle Business School. This will concentrate on how businesses can embrace green issues in a downturn.
Richard Elphick, IoD North East Chairman, said: “Our ‘Rough Guide to Business’ master classes are all about providing the audience with practical advice and information that they can take home and implement in their own business.”
Sustainability and What It Means Now is on Tuesday September 8, and Developing Marketing Strategies to Succeed in Turbulent Times is on Tuesday November 17.
