Loft goes for New York heights
A Tyneside music company has proved a hit in the USA as one of its latest tracks has been chosen to feature in top crime drama CSI: New York, one of the world’s “most watched TV shows”.
Loft Music, based in Newcastle, provides music for the television, film, advertising and video games industries.
Andrew Archer, a partner with Loft Music, said: “The CSI music supervisors knew us and had used our music several times previously.
“Now we’ve secured this new deal with CSI, which sits well alongside our own UK recent success of having another track chosen for the futuristic racing video game Wipeout HD Fury for PlayStation 3.
“For Loft Music to be competing for high profile and internationally-renowned contracts and winning them, in spite of the current economic climate, proves what credible creative resources we have in this region.”
