Superkrush Films, based in Newcastle, has landed a six-month contract to deliver promotional videos for Newcastle’s Science City, after 16 other companies pitched for the reward.
The footage will be used to encourage businesses and students in the region to create better links with science to ensure that science, technology and innovation succeed in becoming an engine for economic growth.
Superkrush Films’ director, Chris Taylor, said: “Science City were impressed with our creative approach and have asked us to produce a range of videos that are completely different to the promo corporate videos you see everywhere.
“Through a tough process of proposals and presentations, we have managed to secure the contract.”

Peter Arnold, chief executive, Newcastle Science City, said: “We want to make science available to as many people as possible and video is a fantastic was to achieve this ambition.”
