Guys' place gets girls-only night
A Newcastle night spot is to be transformed into all things feminine for one night only.
On 27 October the normally testosterone-filled Shearer’s Bar at St. James’ Park will become “girly” heaven at the launch of Girls Night In Night Out.
The event is the idea of North East businesswoman Kim Scott, who is now planning a series of events which will bring together the opportunity to shop, test out beauty products and treatments and indulge in a spot of naughtiness – all in one evening.
The bar is being divided up into zones with stalls on the lower level selling everything from handbags to beauty products with another area set aside for treatments and therapies.
The top floor is being designated over 18s-only with plans to offer a range of risqué products and clothes and an opportunity to try activities such as burlesque and pole dancing.
Tickets for the event are £5 each and anyone wanting to exhibit can book at stall for £100. For further information contact Kim Scott on 0783 001 1212.
