MS Society announces plans for inclusive club night
Following on from the success of the inclusive club night held at The Sage Gateshead in June as part of MS Life - the MS Society’s flagship three day lifestyle convention – the charity is launching ‘Night Life’, the biggest inclusive club night of its kind.
Taking place tonight at Bewicks at Gateshead Civic Centre, Tyne and Wear, the night is aimed at providing those living with or affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) with a social event which is accessible, modern and inclusive of their needs.
Christopher Bray, Event Director at MS Society said: “We were overwhelmed with the positive feedback we received from the inclusive club night we held as part of MS Life. After many calls asking when the next one would be we felt there was a real need, and moreover that we had a responsibility, to develop a social event that was entirely inclusive and which would help bolster the confidence and positivity of those living with MS.
“We would encourage people to spread word of Night Life as this event is set to confirm the North East as the trailblazers of inclusive club nights.”
Two rooms will be playing funky house and vocal garage by Local Hero DJs and retro classics and requests. Entry to Night Life is free, with doors opening at 8pm until midnight.
For a free ticket, register online at www.mssociety.org.uk/mslife or contact the events team on 020 8438 0818 or conferenceadmin@mssociety.org.uk.
