‘Different’ approach leads to digital growth
A digital agency in Newcastle is celebrating clinching a number of important new clients which are helping the business grow further in the sector.
Different Digital, a division of creative agency Different, has recently completed contracts for prominent clients across the North worth in the region of £140, 000 to the business. The company has re-designed and re-launched websites for Glasgow Caledonian University, Stanley-based Penn State Pretzels and Future Transport Systems in Newcastle.
Different Digital has recently trebled its number of employees to help with its growing number of new projects in the digital sector for clients such as One North East, Sunderland University and the NHS.
Nick Salloway, head of digital at Different said: “The challenging economic environment that businesses now face has resulted in many of them demanding far more ‘bang’ for their marketing buck. What’s obvious is that the big difference between marketing during this recession compared with the recession of the early 90s is digital.
“Whereas previously, marketeers relied solely on mass media such as TV, radio and press to literally bombard audiences with brand messages, today more sophisticated and highly integrated marketing strategies, which combine both traditional and digital marketing techniques, can be used to target and, crucially, engage consumers in a much more dynamic and personalised way than ever before.
“At Different we understand that, to be effective, it’s imperative that an organisation’s digital strategy is effectively integrated with every aspect of its marketing communications. That’s why we’ve continued to invest heavily in our digital capability and indeed why our clients experience the success they do.”
