Landmark event returns to the region
Over 2,000 business leaders will gather at a major event in the region later this year as one of the North East’s largest business exhibitions returns.
Companies will have the chance to show off their goods and services and meet potential clients at the Business Exchange Exhibition in March.
The Business Link event has been designed to help companies develop and grow through practical workshops and, opportunities to do business, inspirational speakers and networking.
Alistair MacColl, chief executive of Business & Enterprise North East, which delivers the Business Link service in the region, said: “Exhibiting at Business Exchange North East will provide companies with a unique platform to communicate directly with motivated owners, directors and entrepreneurs.
“It really is a great opportunity for companies to make new contacts, share ideas, develop sales leads and communicate with a range of business professionals looking for ways to improve their business – all under one roof.”
Among the businesses who exhibited at last year’s event - which was formally known as the North East Regional Business Fair - was Gateshead-based Russell Telecom.
Daniel Brown, telesales supervisor at the firm, said: “We decided to exhibit at the business fair to promote our brand, network and in the hope that we could build some productive relationships with other exhibitors and visitors to the event.
“Overall, I was very impressed. The fair was really busy from the start and we made some really useful connections. The event was much bigger and busier than I expected and we generated some genuine leads.”
The event takes place at Newcastle Racecourse & Conferencing Centre on 3 and 4 March. To register or for more information about exhibiting at the event go to www.business-exchange.otg.uk
