NBS chairman to step down
NEWCASTLE Building Society chairman Chris Hilton is retiring after nine years in the role and more than 30 years as a board member.
He will step down as chairman later in the year once a suitable replacement is found.
The Society says it has a well-developed succession plan in place and is confident it will find a suitable replacement.
The news follows a change of chief executive at the institution made earlier this year as Colin Seccombe retired, with Jum Willens coming in as his replacement.
