Pyeroy lands deal with international player
INDUSTRIAL services giant Pyeroy has landed a £2.5m contract with a major global client.
The Gateshead company, which supplies paint, coatings and support services to a range of sectors, has won a new deal with international industrial group Huntsman.
In the week that the business recorded a 33% dip in annual profits in 2009, as sales rose 7% to £58m, it has received a major boost from Huntsman.
The contract, with the worldwide manufacturer of commodity and differentiated chemicals, will see Pyeroy extend its fabric maintenance services work.
The contract is for an initial three-year period with a two-year option and is with Huntsman’s Polyurethanes manufacturing plant at the Wilton Integrated Chemical Park on Teesside.
Hugh Pelham, managing director of Pyeroy, said: “We are delighted to have secured a third contract with Huntsman, reflecting our expertise in providing an integrated bundled services’ proposition which was compelling for Huntsman.”
The Pyeroy Group employs 1000 people working on industrial, construction and marine projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
