Hedgehog lab drives into iPad market
SOFTWARE firm hedgehog lab has created an iPad app to gather feedback at an international event hosted by Nissan’s luxury car subsidiary Infiniti.
The Newcastle company created an app that allowed dealers at the launch of the Infiniti M model to give their opinions on the vehicle.
hedgehog lab’s technology allowed dealers to view the car’s marketing brochure and respond to a questionnaire on the iPad.
The app meant that data could be analysed in real-time, cutting down on printing costs of a glossy brochure and gave the global launch the innovation factor, impressing delegates with the use of cutting-edge technology.
Company co-founder Mark Forster said: “What we have developed is a really unique marketing method for Infiniti and a more efficient way of gathering and analysing data in real-time.
“To our knowledge, we are the only company in the region to have done this sort of quirky marketing, using platforms like the iPad, but it is definitely something I can see taking off.”
