New vision for eyecare specialist
A NORTH EAST eyecare specialist has announced that Lianne Johnston has become a partner in the business, having been appointed Ophthalmic Director at its Silksworth and Fulwell stores.
Since graduating from Bradford University with a degree in Optometry in 1994, Lianne Johnston has worked in the optical industry for 16 years, for companies such as Vision Express, Dolland & Aitchison and Optical Express.
Ms. Johnston’s objectives for the See stores includes extending its customer base, growing the existing team and continuing to ensure that See is the first to market in the north east, with many new styles from designer brands such as Chanel, Tiffany and Prada.
She said: “Having worked in the industry for many years, it’s great to be part of such a close knit team that can offer a bespoke and personal service to its customers, as well as offering a relaxed and modern atmosphere where visitors instantly feel at home and can browse the range at their leisure.
“I’ve worked in Sunderland for the past eight years and have built up a strong rapport with the local community. I hope to continue many of these valued relationships at See, as well as forging many new ones.”
