Sanderson Wetherall signs new email deal
AN INDEPENDENT firm of chartered surveyors - which has offices in Newcastle and Teesside - has secured the services of Mimecast to provide its email management services.
Sanderson Wetherall has enlisted the London based firm to provide cloud-based email security across its five UK offices for three years.
Sanderson Wetherall, which employs over 250 staff across offices in Leeds, London, Newcastle upon Tyne, Manchester and Teesside, were previously using several different providers to manage the areas of email security, email archiving and business continuity.
The three year deal with Mimecast consolidates these services.
Operating across a broad range of areas in the public and private sectors, Sanderson Weatherall has grown rapidly and the need to scale the company’s email infrastructure to match this growth was a factor in selecting Mimecast.
Adrian Rich, partner at Sanderson Wetherall, said: “It was after a great deal of industry research that we decided to award the contract to Mimecast, because the service genuinely offers the best overall functionality and integration.
“We’ve made massive savings compared to our previous solutions and the bottomless archive service means that as our business grows there are no incremental cost implications.”
Founded in the United Kingdom in 2003, Mimecast serves approximately 3,000 customers worldwide and has offices in Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East and the Channel Islands.
