Ex-Fawthrop director returns with new firm
THE former marketing director of a North East creative agency which collapsed earlier this year after 21 years in business, has launched her own firm.
In the aftermath of the voluntary liquidation of Newcastle-based Fawthrop McLanders in July, the company’s former director Jenny Volkers has launched Indigo Crow Creative Solutions.
According to Ms Volkers The idea behind the new consultancy is to provide clients with senior level support at reasonable rates, something that can be achieved because of low overheads.
She said: “Traditional agencies with hierarchical structures and lots of staff may find the economic times we’re currently experiencing very difficult. Our idea was to minimise the numbers of employees and use experienced freelance support to offer a flexible and high quality service at competitive rates.”
The new agency has already picked up a handful of clients including Insurance Medical Group Ltd, VH Bio Ltd and ESCAPE Family Support Ltd.
