Business & Enterprise North East (BE-NE) yesterday launched a new group of companies designed to offer services throughout the UK from its base in Seaham.
BE-NE is now claims to be one of the country’s most influential specialists in business improvement.
Its portfolio currently includes the Business Link contract in the North East, the North East England Investment Centre, the Regional International Trade Office and a range of contracts for central government, local authorities and a number of national organisations.
The new structure introduces Business & Enterprise UK into the group along with Business & Enterprise International Trade, Business & Enterprise Services and Business & Enterprise Commercial.
Each company is designed to provide the group with the flexibility to develop new markets and compete more assertively in other parts of the UK.
Alastair MacColl, Chief Executive of BE-NE and the new Business & Enterprise group said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the launch of our expanded group of companies.
“We expect to see some profound changes in business improvement over the next eighteen months and the new company structure gives us the flexibility to adapt to changing market demand, both in the North East and beyond.”
