Digital growth for Newcastle business
A NEWCASTLE based digitial organisation is continuing is experiencing a spurt in growth after securing two major new contracts with UK firms.
The Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) has selected Different Digital, whose headquarters are in Newcastle city centre, to develop, produce and run a new consumer-focussed website to promote outdoor activities across the UK.
The OIA is the national trade body for manufacturers, retailers and other organisations that provide products and services for the outdoor leisure pursuits market in the UK.
Different Digital is developing a new online campaign using web, social media and mobile technologies to increase the take-up and popularity of outdoor activities.
In addition, the company has secured a contract with the NHS to promote its cycling scheme across trusts in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham and Darlington.
Different Digital is also currently working with L’Oreal, Benfield Motors, Glasgow Caledonian University, COI and Balance North East Alcohol Office on a range of campaigns.
Nick Salloway, managing director of Different Digital, said: “Throughout 2010 Different Digital has managed to buck the trend, constantly securing new contracts which have allowed us to invest further in our developing business.
“We’ve worked really hard to find great people who can deliver innovative and highly creative solutions for our clients thus ensuring that they, and ultimately we, prosper even during these challenging economic times”.
