SES secures further contract wins for North East office
A BUILDING services contractor has announced the completion of works at the £20m Hartlepool Community Health Centre and £50m worth of new contracts.
In January 2009, Newcastle based SES commenced work on the state of the art community health centre which incorporates GP surgeries, language therapy services and a Boots pharmacy.
The original contract was followed with a smaller one to install building services to an extension housing a minor injuries unit - which was completed in October.
In the education sector, SES has remained busy, carrying out projects under the South Tyneside and Gateshead (STaG) BSF programme.
Steve Joyce, operations director for SES in the north east, said: “In the past 12 months our success at winning work in both the education and health sectors, on major schemes projects such Phase 1 of Harton Technical College and the fantastic state of the art community health centre in Hartlepool, has positioned us well for these latest contract wins.
“This work and the work we are doing outside of the region on the Hull BSF and Bradford Schools projects, has allowed us to retain our current workforce in the north east for the foreseeable future.”
