Sarah Palin folk tribute song is internet hit
A tribute song to Sarah Palin and the Tea Party has become an internet hit after being shared virally on Twitter on Monday.
After a tough week that has seen Sarah Palin criticised for her “blood libel” speech and Barack Obama’s ratings rocket following his words at the memorial in Tuscon, the folk song could act as a boost to the flagging former Alaskan Governor.
Set to the tune of “Battle Hymn of the Republic”, the clip was posted on YouTube last October but only gained popularity recently after it was picked up by social networking sites.
“Sarah Palin Battle Hymn” was written by Tom Dempsey and currently has just under 250,000 plays on YouTube.
