Five new jobs set to be created at a South Tyneside software developer
A software developer has unveiled expansion plans which will see it create 5 new jobs over the coming year.
Sister companies DEF Software and DEF Apps have also moved to new premises which are seven times larger than their current home, to cope with their planned expansion.
It comes after a highly successful start to the year in which DEF Software alone took an order book of almost £300,000.
DEF owner David Frame said: “The team is very pleased to be moving into our larger offices after achieving great results already this year.
“We have signed a long term agreement on the property so I wanted to ensure that the two DEF companies would be comfortable there for the foreseeable future.”
The firm believe the new 3,600 square feet premises will provide plenty of space to allow for their future growth.
Mr Frame said he wanted his business to continue to prosper in his home patch, which is why the move has taken the team just one and half miles from its original Boldon office to Monkton Business Park.
He added: “The whole team is very happy to be on the move as it will really help to boost business functionality further as we continue to see the businesses grow.”
