New resources to help youngsters into work
An awarding body is announcing the launch of a new resource to support new qualifications set to combat the growing problem of youth unemployment.
The Preparation for Life and Work qualifications will help young people to prepare for the workplace in mindset and skillset. The new resources, which have been written by industry professionals, will help staff to plan sessions, as well as enabling students to track their personal progress.
David Grailey, Chief Executive at NCFE said: “We continually strive to put exceptional customer service at the heart of everything we do. We listen to feedback from all of our customers with the aim of making innovative changes, which directly benefit them.
“We’re confident that the new learning resources will be a useful tool to our customers, especially for delivery staff who are new to the assessment environment or those unfamiliar with the subject area.
These qualifications are part of a growing portfolio of work related qualifications to drive learners towards further study and employment.
