Launch of Leadership Plus for Local Leaders in North East

Two local business owners – Lesley Hunter from Sunderland and Malcolm Gallagher from BizVision in Northumberland – have brought together their complementary skills and expertise to launch a dynamic new programme to catapult business growth in the region.

Leadership Plus is a highly interactive 90-day programme that helps top level leaders manage, measure and demonstrate continuous improvement and growth in their organisation. Based on BizVision’s unique web-based business scorecard it gives busy leaders complete access and control over the key indicators of their business. By collaborating with BizVision, Lesley brings her nationally recognised expertise in leadership and behavioural development to the programme and provides targeted specialist input in the form of face-to-face and virtual mentoring alongside a team of experienced business mentors. This is further supported by an online hub providing a vast resource of instant learning and knowledge with incisive short videos and valuable resources such as templates, toolkits and guides. According to Malcolm, “Leadership+ is not for the business that is content to be mediocre. It is only for you if, in 90 days time, you want to be substantially ahead of where you are now!”

Explaining why she is involved, Lesley said: “Understanding behaviour and getting the leadership right is fundamental for any business aiming to grow.
