New appointments at Tadea
Four new recruits have been appointed at North East-based Tadea as part of its business expansion programme.
Paul Dodds joins as Strategic Operations Manager to grow its existing commercial, healthcare and advice service teams, Dorothy Turbill has been appointed into the newly created HR Manager position, Janet Miller will support the Chief Executive as his PA, and Jolande Mace is a new addition to tadea’s Energy Saving Trust energy advisor team.
Paul Jackson, CEO from Tadea, said: “It is exciting times for us at Tadea. We have grown from strength to strength over the years into a company with just over £5m turnover.
“We are pleased that we are able to build on our expertise and experience in the energy efficiency and renewable sector to further grow the business in what is a difficult economic period for everyone.”
Meanwhile, North East financial adviser Carterbar has taken on seventeen-year-old Ashley Kane as its first ever apprentice.
Carterbar, which is based on the Belasis Business Park, in Billingham, Teesside, says that it was impressed with the teenager when she did work experience and was determined to invite her back.
Ms Kane, from Billingham, has been given a six month apprenticeship as an administrative assistant, as part of a programme run by the A4e organisation.
She said: “Although I was at college, I was more interested in the idea of learning on the job which is why I liked the idea of an apprenticeship. Administration appeals to me because it can be applied in all sorts of jobs. I am really enjoying my time at Carterbar.”
