Northumbria Food & Wine Festival
October 2011 is the launch date of the Northumbria Food & Wines Festival. This new yearly event has been created by Northumbria Events Limited, a collaborative partnership between Fasol Menin (UK), The Feathers Inn and Tynedale Rugby Club.
The event will take place inside a series of specially designed food and wine festival marquees at Tynedale Park, Corbridge, Northumberland, NE45 5AY.
The aim of the event is to showcase the finest kitchens, producers and retailers across the North of England all dedicated to high quality food and wine and with a desire to share their passion with consumers through an iteractive event.
Consumers attending the festival can expect to find some of the regions best pop up restaurant experiences, cookery demonstrations, live music, wine talks and wine tasting events making this a unique event that will be the highlight of the food and drink calendar in our region. This event is completely consumer orientated as we have taken the best bits from previous festivals and events to put them into a festival that people will really enjoy. We will create an environment that allows people to shop easily, discover new facts about wine and food and try lots of new tastes.
