The shortlist for the 12thannual North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards has finally been revealed.
This year the judges looked for leaders who have managed to build and sustain their business through the recession, while using strong on and offline marketing techniques.
Nickie Gott, WIN Chair was astounded by the high standard of this years entrants. She commented: “Its always exciting when we phone the finalists to tell them they have been successful, because the whoops down the phone show how important these Awards are in recognising their achievements.
“We’ve also started producing short films on the finalists as we really wanted to give everyone an idea of the amazing businesses and female entrepreneurs who work in the North East.”
The nominees hail from a range of sectors, including hospitality, retail, fitness, childcare and marketing.
Nickie added: “It is important to support organisations like Women Into the Network which are dedicated to inspire, guide and support women in business to develop and reach their full potential.
“The Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the success of WIN and the women they have supported.”
