Management buy-out heralds new era for Torus
A specialist recruitment agency for the energy industry is expanding its operations following a management buy out.
Torus Supply Co Ltd has offices in Darlington and Darlington, and has now been acquired by managing director Will Mora from two management executives. This move has secured 16 jobs, and will pave the way for a full scale rebrand of the firm, which was formerly known as Sharpe Personnel.
Torus plans to retain key development, sales and support staff who bring vast experience in the recruitment industry to the company.
As well as changing the name of the firm and corporate branding, Torus are now planning to launch a new website with social media functionality. It is hoped that it will make it even easier for companies looking to fill roles in engineering, driving, energy, industrial or technical sectors.
Will Mora, Managing Director of Torus Supply, commented: “The acquisition has given us the opportunity to invest in the future of our company and to maximise the recruitment services we provide to a wide range of clients across many industry sectors.
“I am delighted to be heading up our newly re-branded company, which has a proven and widely-respected track record of supplying the cream of talent to industry. Our revamped website is now a one-stop shop for a huge variety of companies and organisations seeking to enhance their workforces.”
Torus Supply Co Ltd has many high-profile cross-industry clients including The Wood Group, a global leader in oil, power and gas generation.
