Energi Coast to showcase North East offering
The North East renewable group Energi Coast is set to showcase the region’s integrated offshore supply chain at a major industry exhibition later this month.
The All Energy Conference will take place on the 23 and 24 May, and ill bring together companies and experts from across the world to discuss the latest solutions and opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Joanne Leng, Deputy Chairman of Energi Coast, said: “North East England has a key strategic role to play in the development of the offshore renewables sector, in the UK and internationally.
“All Energy is an ideal platform to reinforce that message to the industry and help develop new and existing relationships with the sector, which will benefit North East England’s supply chain.”
Energi Coast’s Steering Group alone has invested around £400m in their offshore renewables activities and have a combined turnover of £200m in offshore wind. The group forecasts the turnover of their operations in this sector will double as the offshore renewables market expands further.
The organisation hope that the exhibition will help them to highlight the region’s capabilities, and the portfolio of specialist products and services the supply chain can offer the industry.
She added: “Our aim is for the region to become a global hub for the offshore renewables industry.
“It is a unique region in terms of geography, experience, infrastructure and technical capabilities, which will make it attractive to operators sourcing supply chain services for their projects.”
