Manufacturers in the UK want more help from the Government, according to a survey by BDO business advisors.
The results also indicated that manufacturers want a new “industrial bank” to be created, as well as preference to be given to UK companies when public contracts are awarded. While the manufacturing industry in the UK has the potential to be economically powerful, is there a danger that giving preference to the industry could result in others being left behind?
