Bdaily attends launch of key aviation route
Earlier this month Durham Tees Valley Airport announced the launch of a new marketing partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
The airline currently operates 3 flights a day from Teesside to Amsterdam Airport Schphol hub airport, and it is hoped that this new partnership will help businesses in the region improve their global reach.
Earlier in the year the airport faced an uncertain future, but its future was secured after Peel Investments (DTVA), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Peel Group acquired a majority share in the airport. This is the first initiative to be announced since continuation of operations and business at the airport was confirmed.
Bdaily attended the event, and spoke to some of the individuals key to securing the partnership. Click here to watch the video.
