A healthy smile for Comedy

A dental clinic will be stepping on board ARC’s comedy programme with a sponsorship deal that will support the healthy round up of budding and big name comedians who grace the bill.

Queensway Dental Clinic will be backing all of ARC’s one-off comedy acts, which in the past have included Jenny Éclair, Lee Evans, Shappi Khorsandi, Sarah Millican and most recently Jack Dee.

Serving patients across the North East, Queensway Dental Clinic in Billingham is recognised for their exceptional levels of expertise, care and professionalism. As well as offering comprehensive dentistry services for NHS and private patients, their treatments include dental implants, veneers, tooth whitening, orthodontics, treatment of gum disease, root canal treatment and oral surgery.

The clinic already has a strong presence within the local community, through creating essential jobs, supporting their local football club, and helping to raise money for Help for Heroes and the Butterwick Hospice.

Managing Partner at Queensway, Dr Ian Lane, is looking forward to extending their support to ARC:

“Making people feel happy is at the heart of Queensway Dental Clinic’s philosophy, which is why we are pleased to be able to sponsor a great comedy programme. Queensway already has great links within the local community and is happy to be able to support ARC in a way which also raises awareness of the great service we continue to offer.”

ARC’s Chief Executive, Annabel Turpin, explained the motivation behind the sponsorship,

“As a charity, ARC has to make a percentage of its income from sponsorship and donations in addition to income from ticket sales, and is actively seeking support from local businesses. Queensway Dental Clinic already make a huge contribution to the local community and we are delighted that they have decided to work with us. We can help them promote their business to our customers, in return for financial support to enable us to continue to ensure the whole community can access our facilities, events and creative learning activities.”

The sponsorship came into effect from the beginning of June to provide happy smiles all round for ARC’s comedy from that moment on.
