Is the UK outlook getting worse or gettingbetter?

Despite a recent spate of news indicating that the UK economy is slowly improving, the Governor of the Bank of England is feeling increasingly pessimistic about the state of financial affairs around the globe.

Mervyn King expressed his concerns over the state of the Eurozone, the results of which are spilling over to the Asian and American markets - and could in turn damage the UK economy.

So should we be concerned, or is the Governor being overly cautious?
