High Street blues
The number of retail collapses have risen by 10.3% between April and June.
While this figure has been attributed to poor weather conditions over the period, this figure will also highlight the difficult squeeze on our High Streets. A number of initiatives have been implemented to improve the situation, but we have yet to see the effects of the Portas Pilots and Core Cities initiatives.
