Bdaily visits Prima restaurant
Bdaily went down to the quayside in Newcastle this week to sample what culinary delights Italian restaurant Prima had to offer. We were warmly met by friendly staff and kept happy in a relaxed and warm atmosphere, a visit to Prima is well worth it.
The menu is really impressive and offers a great variety of Italian classic dishes, as well as some exciting and creative takes on traditional pizza and pasta. Beautifully presented starters of scallops with black pudding, crispy pancetta and a pea mint puree came, before a main of ravioli with crab and an arrabiata sauce.
The portions were really generous which was probably the only downside- the food was so delicious that you couldn’t leave anything!
We still managed to share a dessert of crème brûlée between two of us, sweetly served in a coffee cup.
The evening was really great and quite busy for a Monday night. With great food and attentive, relaxed staff, Prima gets the thumbs up from Bdaily.
