Partnership Sees Elite Add 500 Serviced Apartments To Portfolio

A North East serviced apartments company is celebrating after securing a partnership deal with the market leader in its field to add a network of more than 500 properties to its portfolio in the UK.

Yarm-based Elite Serviced Apartments has joined forces with Deep Blue Apartments to offer luxury accommodation across all major cities and towns in England, Scotland and Wales.

The partnership deal follows a rapid growth spurt for Elite Serviced Apartments in Teesside after acquiring more serviced apartments in Yarm, Thornaby and Hartlepool Marina due to an overwhelming demand for accommodation.

Despite the unstable economic climate the company has witnessed the demand for serviced accommodation double as more customers are opting for a cost effective alternative to hotel accommodation.

Katrina Rosser, managing director of Elite Serviced Apartments, said: “We are delighted to announce we will be working in partnership with Deep Blue Apartments and offering our clients accommodation across the UK. “With an extensive portfolio of in excess of 500 network properties in key locations we will be able to help any client find the most appropriate accommodation no matter what their requirements and length of stay, short or long.

“We have experienced an unprecedented demand in 2012 and 2013 for accommodation as more-and-more people are choosing a home from home environment instead of staying in a hotel. Our accommodation has been completely occupied for more than 95% of the last six months, which is nearly 20% higher than the UK average.

“The serviced apartments industry has been steadily growing in recent years. The Association of Serviced Apartments has reported a 2% increase in overall occupancy at 78% and a 3% increase in the net weekly rental for the UK.
